Deep House Cleaning (UK): organic traffic up 1,800% with local SEO
A London deep-cleaning company wanted to own cleaning searches in the UK. Three months of local SEO, on-page work and link building took organic traffic up 1,800%, with 365K impressions, 715 ranking keywords and 84% of visits coming from the UK.

The brief
Deep House Cleaning offers one-off deep cleans in London. The site had little authority and ranked for almost nothing commercially useful.
What we did
- Audited and fixed on-page SEO with service pages built around the searches customers actually make.
- Optimised the Google Business Profile and local citations so the business appeared for “near me” searches.
- Ran a link-building campaign that added 218 backlinks and 21 new referring domains during the period.
- Tracked everything in Search Console and Semrush and adjusted the content plan monthly.
Results
Organic traffic rose 1,800%. In three months the site earned 365K impressions, ranked for 715 keywords with 5 in the top three positions, and reached 527 referring domains. 84% of traffic came from the UK, the only market that matters for a local service.
Why it worked
- Local intent pages plus a tidy Business Profile win the searches that turn into bookings.
- Links were earned steadily rather than in a burst, which is what Google rewards.
- Monthly reporting kept the content plan pointed at keywords that were starting to move.
